Saravanan (Saro) Velrajan is the author of the book “An Introduction to 5G Wireless Networks”. Saro is specialized in technologies such as Software-Defined Networks (SDN), Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), Wireless Networks (5G/4G), Internet of Things (IoT), Edge Computing and Content Delivery Networks. He is a much sought out professional speaker and trainer. Saro has presented in TEDx, TiE, TMForum, Open Networking Foundation (ONF), DSCI, NASSCOM, CII and PMI events / conferences.
Saro has 23+ years of experience in networking technologies, working for leading companies such as Cisco, Juniper, Ericsson, and Verizon. Saro has an MBA in Technology Management from University of Phoenix.
He has held several roles in delivery management, product engineering, product marketing and product management. Saro has worked in both USA and in India, for startups and established companies. Saro is currently pursuing Ph.D in Edge Computing, at Hindustan University.
Saro is a member of Toastmasters International and has achieved the highest recognition of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM).
K.S.Venkataraghavan is a Senior Project Advisor at CSE Department, IIT Madras. He assists Professor V. Kamakoti (Director IIT-Madras), member of the National Security Advisory board in his national security related advisory role and technical policy pursuits of the GOI.
Venkataraghavan specializes in the areas of Trusted and Secured system engineering and Low power wireless embedded systems. He has around 24 years experience and exposure in various fields ranging from Hardware design related environments, System- Product engineering and management, Embedded System Product engineering, IT infrastructure development and technical training.
